Advantage of solid state relay

2. Low power consumption
3. silent switching ( No tIc-tac Sound like mechanical relay)
4. faster switching
Disadvantages of solid state relay
1. It cannot work on switching DC voltage
2. noticeable voltage drop across the load contact
